I have straight hair. My previous cut from Jamie grew out great, but I wanted a slightly more 1953 Italian pixie cut. It was not a drastic change to what I had it just needed some tweaky. Lennon worked magic on my hair! I had received a bad haircut at another salon 2 months prior and she was able to transform my hair into the CUTEST FREAKING LAYERED BOB. I was so self conscious of my bad haircut that I wore my hair up ina claw clip for 2 while months. I am so excited to show off my new hair now. It was overall a very relaxing experience. I’ve never had my hair colored as an adult, but wanted it done for a trip I’m taking. Lennon saw me Friday. They were very friendly, positive, and listened to my goals. What stood out was their attention to detail. I have very dark hair and wanted it to be partially highlighted a copper color with a little bit of teal. It came out really well! Actually, besides the little bit of teal, looked very natural. Over the weekend I decided I wanted a little bit more pop in the contrast as I often braid my hair and wanted to see contrast without looking chunky. So I called today (Wednesday) and they had an availability. I was nervous that they would feel I was unhappy (I wasn’t), but they understood. I communicated my goal, and they got to work. When I say nailed it, I mean nailed it. Lennon is extremely talented and a true craftsman of the trade. Highly recommend!

I did a hair transformation appointment with Lennon, who was great! We sat and talked in depth about what I wanted so we were both on the same page. Jamie: I feel so incredibly blessed and honored that I get to have her do my hair. I feel seen and heard when it comes to my hair. She plans long term and sees the vision of where we are going and takes the steps needed today to get us where we want to go. I love the fact that it is a collaborative process and she’s open to experimenting and doing things differently. There is no one way to do something and just because it’s been done way, doesn’t mean it’s the right way! My hair has never been healthier than it has under her care. I never have to worry about what I have to do in my home care to restore the damage that is done to my hair. The only thing that has changed in my routine is adding the overnight serum. I don’t even need to straighten my hair anymore as it air dries beautifully (because it is healthy!). I was worried about being judged as the bad client due to my experience with other stylists and the results of their work. A client who hops is most likely contributing to the problem of bad hair but I’m grateful that I’ve been accepted as a client and have finally found a place where I am safe. I’ve lived in 7 cities, and this was the best salon experience I’ve had. The building and environment is beautiful! As soon as I walked in, friendly staff signed me in and made me a hot drink. My hair cutter-Lauren-did an incredible job and my haircut was literally half the cost of my last few. Lauren clearly cared about the quality of the haircut. She stayed late past her shift to take an extra long time creating a perfect haircut and styling it for me. You can tell this place has a very positive environment. Everyone was genuine and friendly. I can’t think of any reason I’d go anywhere else!

After losing my long time stylist and a bad experience with my last cut, today’s visit with Mackenzie was totally a breath of fresh air. My cut is amazing and perfect, and she listened - REALLY listened. I enjoyed every minute of my visit - the scalp massage was incredible and the shampoo chair was the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced.
